Artisan bread in a Dutch oven

Ingredients

  1. 1 tsp activated yeast

  2. 2 tsp sugar

  3. 1 tsp salt

  4. 1 ½ cup of filtered water (108 F°)

  5. 3 cups of flour

Directions

  1. Mix yeast and whole water

  2. Sit for 5 min

  3. Add 3 cups of flour

  4. Mix till most of the powder is gone

  5. Cover with cloth for 1 - 2 hours

  6. Fold in from all sides

  7. Proof for 1 hour

  8. Preheat Dutch oven at 450 F°

  9. Bake for 35 minutes with lid on

  10. Then remove the lid and bake for an extra 5 to 10 minutes.
