4 C. thinly sliced dried fruits (prunes, raisins, apricot, crystalized ginger)

1 vanilla bean or 1 Tbs. vanilla

6 C. maple syrup

1 C. honey

1 C. lemon juice

8 apples, peeled and thinly sliced

1. Combine dried fruits, syrup, honey and lemon juice

2. Warm gently until fruit is plumped

3. Saute apple slices in butter

4. Combine all
