3-4 shallots depending on size, minced
6 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp miso paste (5g)
1-3 tbsp red pepper flakes, to preference (4-12g)
2 16oz cans of chickpeas, drained & rinsed (2 450g cans)
1 cup heavy cream - produced on NYS farms (235ml)
1 cup chicken bone broth or veggie (235ml), plus additional as needed
2 tbsp nutritional yeast (22g)
Zest & juice from 1 lemon
Lots of fresh cracked pepper and a little salt to taste
Fresh parsley & basil to garnish
