Savory Onion Gravy

- 50g Butter
- 100g Onion, Medium
- 25g AP Flour
- 450g Beef/Chicken Stock
- 10g Beef/Chicken Flavored Better Than Bouillon
- 5g Soy Sauce
FOR CHICKEN GRAVY SWAP STOCK AND BTB TO CHICKEN FROM BEEF.
Directions
1. Preheat saute pan over medium heat. Add butter, onion, and a pinch of salt. Sweat for about 5min to soften.
2. Add flour and whisk to combine and cook for 3-5min.
3. Whisk in 100g or about 1/3 of the stock. When stirred in and thickening, whisk in remaining (350g) stock and bring to a simmer.
4. Once simmering, add bouillon paste and soy sauce. Simmer for about 5min or until thickened and onions are fully softened.
