Friendship Cake

1 yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
2/3 cup oil
1 1/2 cups drained fruit (brandied)
1 cup chopped nuts

2 cups sugar
1 qt. cut up peaches & juice (canned)
Directions
Mix cake ingredients and pour into a greased bundt or angel food tin. Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
BRANDIED FRUIT STARTER
2 cups sugar
1 qt. cut up peaches & juice (canned)
Put in a gallon jar. Cover loosely and stir daily for 10 days. On 10th day, add 1 can chunk pineapple and juice and 2 cups sugar. Stir daily for 10 days. On 20th day, add 2 - 8 oz. jars maraschino cherries, drained and 2 cups sugar. Stir daily for 10 days. On 30th day, you are ready to make your friendship cake. This is enough fruit to make 3 cakes. You can give starter and recipe for the cake to a friend or bake the cake to give.
