Sauce:
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 lb Italian sausage
2 (24 oz) jars marinara sauce
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
garlic, optional
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
lasagna noodles
Ricotta Cheese Mixture:
1 (15 oz) containers Ricotta
2 eggs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
about 2 additional cups of mozzarella for sprnkling in between layers and on top
Directions
Cook Sauce, simmer
Mix cheese mixture
Layer
Bake 350 until bubbly
Cover with foil if cheese begins to brown
Layer in this order, do as many layers as you want.

Finish with extra Cheese on top
Notes
I like using Rao’s and whole milk ricotta
Used reduced sodium tomato sauce
Use fresh grated mozz or sliced mozz for best texture, pre-shredded will have a different texture because of the anti-caking additive.
