2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
1 English cucumber, trimmed, quartered lengthwise and thinly sliced on the diagonal
Directions
In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup water, the vinegar, sugar, salt and dill. Stir in the cucumber, then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
