Shepard’s Pie

Ingredients

1 yellow onion, diced

1lb ground beef

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp all purpose flour

1/3 cup bone broth

Salt & Pepper

Onion powder

Garlic powder

1 cup frozen vegetables

3 Yukon gold potatoes

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

2 tbsp butter

Shredded cheese

Directions

Sauté 1 onion and 1 lb of lean meat of choice.

Once about half cooked add 2 tbsp of tomato paste, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tbsp of flour. Cook for a few mins. Add 1/3 cup of bone broth, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Mix in 1 cup or frozen vegetables.

In a separate bowl combine three mashed Yukon gold potatoes, 1/4 cup of sour cream, 1/4 cup of milk, 2 tbsp of butter and seasonings of choice.

Add the mashed potatoes on the meat mixture, making grooves and sprinkle cheese. Place in the oven on broil for a few minutes or until golden brown.
