Low Carb German Baked Eggs

Ingredients

12 large eggs

8 tbsp melted, butter (extra to grease pan)

16 ounces grated cheese or mixture of cheeses (can use any of your favorite cheeses)

16 ounces full fat, cottage cheese

1 tsp baking powder

1 Tbsp corn starch

salt and pepper to taste

chopped, chives for garnish

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish (I use butter).

In a medium sized bowl, crack and which all 12 eggs, making sure to break the yolks.

Add in melted butter, grated cheese, cottage cheese, baking powder, cornstarch, salt and pepper and mix together until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Pour the egg mixture into a greased baking dish and then place into a preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes. The edges should be bubbling and the top lightly golden when done.

Let the eggs sit for 5 minutes before slicing to eat. Garnish with chopped chives. Enjoy!
