Ingredients

1 Cup Sooji

1 Big Apple

5-6 Dates (Can replace with zero calorie sweetner)

1 tbsp ghee

Nuts - Raisins, Almonds, Cashews

Water

Preparation Method -

Dry Roast suji until it changes color and becomes lightly brown

Soak 5-6 dates in hot water for 10 minutes (can take more if you like the halwa sweeter). You can also take a zero calorie sweetner

Directions

Cook the chopped apple in 1 tsp ghee until mushy and blend the apple with some water and dates until you get a purée

In the same pan, add 1/2 tbsp ghee and chopped nuts along with the roasted suji

Sauté for 2 mins and add 1.5 cups of boiling water along with the purée

Stir fast to avoid lumps and it should be ready in 3-4 minutes!
