NEW YEAR’S PORK & SAUERKRAUT WITH KIELBASA IN THE INSTANT PO

Ingredients

**brown**

oil

pork ribs

1/3 cup water

**ADD**

1 can sauerkraut

salt & pepper

little brown sugar

Directions

1. Push the saute button on your Instant pot and let heat up.

2. Add the oil and then place all the ribs in to brown. Sprinkle salt and pepper and brown on both sides add water . Close and lock and switch the vent to sealing, push manual button cook ribs for 15 minutes

3. Then add the sauerkraut and sprinkle the brown sugar on top of ribs.

4. Close and lock the lid and switch the vent to the sealing position.

5. Push the manual button for 10 minutes.

When timer is down, either let vent naturally or turn vent with a quick release.

Open the lid and mix the kraut around a bit.

Serve as is or with mashed potatoes.

If using a slow cooker, you can add everything into the crock and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
