Healthy Banana Date Chocolate Bites

Ingredients

8 large pitted medjool dates

16 slices of ripe banana

1 cup thick and creamy dairy free yogurt (used Siggi's)

thick nut butter (used crunchy peanut butter)

1 and 1/4 cup chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil

Directions

open up the medjool dates and flatten them as much and possible.

mix the banana slices with dairy free yogurt and place two coated slices on each date.

freeze for 30 minutes and then add a spoonful of peanut butter.

place back in the freezer for about 30 minutes. then, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil.

coat each date in melted chocolate once it cools down and place back in the freezer for 30 minutes.

serve and enjoy! store in the fridge in an airtight container. you can place pop them in the freezer for 10 min before you eat one if a firmer texture is desired!
