Ingredients

For the glaze:

1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped (or ½ cup mango puree)

2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

1–2 tsp sriracha or chili paste (adjust to heat preference)

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp soy sauce

1 garlic clove, minced

For the salmon:

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

For garnish:

Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped

Lime wedges

Directions

Make the chili mango glaze

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine mango, honey, sriracha, lime juice, soy sauce, and garlic.

Cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Blend if you want a smooth glaze. Set aside.

Prepare the salmon

Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the salmon

Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if skin-on) and sear 4–5 minutes.

Flip salmon and brush generously with chili mango glaze. Cook another 3–4 minutes until salmon is cooked through and glaze is caramelized.

Serve

Plate salmon and drizzle extra glaze on top.

Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley and lime wedges.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve with steamed jasmine rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables for a complete tropical-inspired meal.
