12 oz Fettuccine Noodles.
1 1/2 cup of the Pasta Water.
1 pound of Ground Beef.
1 tbsp of Minced Garlic.
1/2 cup of Soy Sauce.
1/2 cup of Brown Sugar.
3 tbsp of Hoisin Sauce.
2 tbsp of Ginger.
1-2 tsp of Red Pepper Flakes.
2 tbsp of Corn Starch.
3 tbsp of Water.
Directions
Cook 12 ounces of noodles. I used fettuccine noodles. You can use whatever you would like though. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the pasta water.
Cook 1 pound of ground beef and drain the grease. Add 1 TBSP of minced garlic or use garlic powder. Season with pepper.
Once your meat is cooked add 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 3 tablespoons of hoisin sauce, 2 teaspoons of ginger, and 1-2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes(if you like spice). Mix this until well combined. Heat to a medium.
Make a corn starch mixture by added 2 tablespoons of corn starch with 3 Tablespoons of water. Mix well. Then add to your meat. Keep stirring until thickened. This won’t take long.
Now take the 1 1/2 cups and pasta water and add it in. Set the heat to medium to high until it starts to boil. Then lower it and keep stirring.
Now add your pasta. Keep stirring until well blended. Your noodles and meat will soak up a lot of the sauce. Takes maybe 5 minutes.
Top with green onions and enjoy!!!
