Teriyaki Glazed Meatballs

1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup finely diced green onions
2 tbsp finely diced cilantro
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp arrowroot starch (or cornstarch)
2 cups cooked white rice
2 2 green onions (diced)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Add all meatball ingredients to a bowl and mix until evenly combined
Scoop into 20–24 meatballs and place on the baking sheet
Bake for 12 minutes or until cooked through
While baking, add all sauce ingredients (except arrowroot slurry) to a skillet and bring to a simmer
Dissolve arrowroot starch in 1 tbsp water and whisk into the sauce until thickened, about 1–2 minutes
Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and toss to coat
Serve over rice and garnish with green onions
