Cheddar Spinach Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Directions

1. Prepare the mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Mix everything together until well combined.

2. Form the patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about ½ inch thick.

3. Cook the burgers:

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Cook the patties for about 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

4. Serve: Let the burgers rest for a minute before serving. Enjoy them on buns with your favorite toppings or as a protein-packed meal with a side salad.
