Jamie Olivers Botham Burger Recipe

500g - 750g good quality ground beef, preferably natural or organic
1 medium red onion, diced
1 large egg
1 handful of almond flour (1/2 cup)
1/2 Tbsp coriander seeds, crushed
1 small pinch of cumin seeds, crushed
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
salt and freshly ground pepper
4 whole grain hamburger buns.
Directions
Preheat the barbecue to medium high or oven to 180°C.
"Mix and scrunch all the ingredients together. Divide into 4 - 6, then gently mold and pack each burger into smallish slightly flattened balls."
Oven:
Cook burger pattiesat 180° on a lined baking sheet for 18 mins (check if done) otherwise cook for a further 2 - 5 mins. Top with slice of cheese for last minute.
Barbecue:
Brush grill grates clean, then brush lightly with oil. Place burgers on grill and cook rotating after 3 minutes, roughly 6 minutes per a side, until burgers are cooked through but still juicy. Toast hamburger buns placing cut side down on grill.
Serve immediately with your favorite fixings!
