Mustard-Thyme Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white wine (or red wine)

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  • fresh thyme

  • 1 clove garlic (minced)

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Directions

  1. Add wine to skillet and bring to boil.

  2. Add mustard, fresh thyme, and minced garlic.

  3. Bring to boil and reduce the sauce, until it thickens. It should take a couple of minutes.

  4. Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. It's optional but it might be good for mellowing the strong flavors! Taste the sauce and add another tablespoon or two of cream, if desired.

  5. Season the sauce with salt and cracked black pepper, if needed.
