Chocolate Discard Graham Crackers

Ingredients

Chocolate discard graham crackers! I’ve been experimenting with different crackers, and so far these are a favorite!

200g of sourdough discard

200(ish)g of flour (I went more by consistency than measurement, just added a little more flour until it wasn’t sticky anymore)

1 stick of melted salted butter

5g salt

30g cocoa powder

70g sugar

Mix together the discard and butter, then add in all the dry ingredients. Kneaded for a couple minutes, rest it for about 20-30 min. Preheat the oven to 350. Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper into a sheet about 1/16” thick, then cut into strips then squares with a pizza cutter. I split the dough into two sections before rolling it. Poke each square with a fork, bake for about 10-12 minutes. They should still be soft when they come out! They’ll harden as they cool. When they came out I brushed them with melted butter and dusted them with sugar!
