Southern Fried Corn

Ingredients

8 ears fresh corn or 4 cups frozen

2 tablespoons bacon grease

4 tablespoons butter

1-2 tablespoons heavy cream

Salt and pepper

If using fresh corn slice the corn off of the cobs and place into a bowl. Scrape as much corn milk off remaining cobs with the dull end of the knife right into the bowl with the kernels.

Directions

In a large skillet, best to use cast iron melt the bacon grease along with 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted add the corn and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium low heat for about 20 minutes. Add remaining butter and the heavy cream and stir until the butter is melted. Serve immediately!
