Rueber Beef Roast

Directions

The lower the heat the better the roast. Usually I cooked at 350 as I had such a large roast and short of time before dinner on the farm. Brown roast on all sides if possible.

Place several slices of onion on top. About 2-3 bay leaves, salt and pepper. Bake at 300-325 - 350 for 3 to 4 hours. Cook until desired doneness. Remove roast. Add potato water from the potatoes and make gravy.

May use plain water also, but I always had a big kettle of potatoes on the stove.

Remove the bay leaves. Slice and serve.
