Beef & Spinach Lo Mein

Ingredients

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 teaspoons sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 pound beef top round steak, thinly sliced

4 servings of spaghetti (224g)

2 TBSP of oil, divided

1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained

2 green onions, sliced

1 package (10 ounces) fresh spinach, coarsely chopped

Directions

In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients. Remove 1/4 cup mixture to a large bowl; add beef and toss to coat. Marinate at room temperature 10 minutes.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large Wok use the oil to sauté the food in this order: 1. Meat, 2. Water chestnuts and green onions, 3. Spinach.

Return everything to one pan and add the remaining sauce and toss.
