3-5 lb chuck

Cherry bbq sauce or fav bbq

Bbq rub
Mustard
Directions
Pre heat smoker to 250
Apply thin layer of yellow mustard on chuck then season liberally with fav bbq rub. Allow to sit for 30 min.
Smoke chuck till it reaches 165
Transfer chuck to Dutch oven and add 12 oz cherry Dr Pepper and chopped onion
Cover Dutch over with lid and return to smoker for 2 hours.
Remove lid and add bottle of bbq sauce. Smoke until internal reaches 200-205.
Allow to rest for for 1 hour.
Remove meat from Dutch oven and shred.
Skim fat out of sauce in Dutch oven. Bring sauce to boil then simmer to desired thickness (15-20 minutes).
Mix meat with sauce and serve.
