1 Beef Tongue 2-4 pounds
6 Bay Leaves
10 cloves Crushed Garlic
2 onions Quartered
2 tablespoons Salt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon Red Wine or Regular Vinegar
Put washed tongue into a large pan of water. Add spices. Bring to a boil and simmer 2-3 hours. Remove from pan and let it cool to touch. Peel the white outer layer off carefully and discard. Slice and use like cold meat cuts on sandwiches or on a party tray.
