Ingredients

Ingredients

2 cups warm water (400ml)

1 teaspoon yeast

1 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons oil

5 cups flour (add gradually)

______

100g butter

½ teacup oil

———-

100g white cheese

———

1 egg yolk

Note: You can make the rise faster in an oven preheated to 50 degrees Celsius 👍

For the dough, mix all the ingredients together to form a soft, non-sticky dough. Cover and let it rise for 40 minutes. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and form into balls. Coat the balls in the butter and oil mixture and let them sit in the oil (the bowl containing the butter and balls should be large). (A tray would be better)

After coating all the dough in oil and leaving it in the oil, cover it and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. I shaped the dough as shown in the video, put a plastic bag over it and enlarged it. I drizzled it with oil from the tray, folded the edges, put the filling on it, made a roll, folded one end over the other and placed it on the tray. I used feta cheese inside. You can make it plain if you like. For the yeast in the tray, I let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Then I brushed it with 1 egg yolk and baked it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Bon appetit to those who will try it.
