Ingredients

  • 6 cloves garlic

  • 1 onion

  • 1 bell pepper

  • 1 carrot

  • shit ton of red pepper flakes

  • 2 tbsp oregano

  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 2 tbsp anchovy paste

  • red wine

  • 1 28oz cans san marzano tomatoes

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 1lb ground meat

  • 1 cup parmesan

  • 1 lb spaghetti

Directions

  1. cook the ground beef until browned, put aside

  2. sweat the onion, carrot, and bell pepper in olive oil

  3. add garlic and red pepper flakes, saute for 30 seconds

  4. add oregano and anchovy filets, break up the filets, saute for a minute

  5. add tomato paste, saute for 3 more minutes

  6. add red wine, reduce

  7. add tomatoes, crushed up

  8. simmer until the end of time

  9. before serving, stir in 3 tbsp of butter
