Caramelized Fresh Figs and Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients

1 baguette, cut into slices

1 tablespoon olive oil

8 oz (225 gr) fresh figs, cut into four slices lengthwise

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon honey, plus more to drizzle on top

10 ½ oz (300 gr) goat cheese

fresh baby arugula

1/3 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

Drizzle the baguette slices with olive oil, and grill in a large skillet over medium-high heat, until golden on both sides.

In a medium skillet, melt the butter with the honey and add the sliced figs. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until caramelized.

Mix the goat cheese until softened, and spread on the grilled crostini.

Top with some arugula and two slices of figs. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey.
