Pomegranate Berry Smoothie

3 Tablespoons Dried mulberries
1 Cup Frozen mixed berries
1 Teaspoons Flaxseed meal
1 1/2 Tablespoons Cottage cheese
1/4 Cup Oatmilk
1/4 Cup Pomegranate juice
1/2 Cup Ice cubes
Directions
In a high-speed blender, combine all the berries. Add the flaxseed, cottage cheese, milk, and pomegranate juice. Start blending on low speed, increasing the speed as high as the larger chunks break down and become smooth. If your blender has a tamper, this can help the blending process and should be a first resort over adding more liquid, which can water down the intense Berry flavor. Once smooth, add the ice cubes and blend until the ice is fully Incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
Divide the smoothie among two glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
For a dairy-free/ plant-based option, omid the cottage cheese and use your favorite milk substitute. To boost the protein content you're missing from eliminating the cottage cheese, you can add 1 tbsp of hemp or chia seeds with the berries or use hemp milk in place of dairy milk.
You may use cherry juice instead of pomegranate juice or add 1/4 a cup of spinach to the mix for extra greens.
