Creme Brûlée French Toast

1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup
1 large challa bread
5 large eggs
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp Grand Mariner
1/4 tsp salt
Directions
Melt together butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup until smooth. Pour into 9x12 baking dish.
Cut the challa bread into 1” portions and arrange in the baking dish.
Whisk eggs, cream, vanilla, grand marinier, and salt until combined. Pour over bread.
Chill in the fridge for at least 8 hours.
Preheat oven to 350° and set dish out to bring to room temp.
Bake uncovered 35-40 minutes.
