Beef Brisket Slow Cooker

Ingredients

1 beef brisket joint (around 1-1.5kg)

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

3 tsp chopped garlic

600ml beef stock

3 tbsp gravy granules

2 bay leaves

1 spring of rosemary (substitute with thyme or any other herbs)

Cracked black pepper to taste

Directions

Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for at least 8 hours or high for around 6 hours. Remove the lid and use two forks to tear apart the beef.

Serve with creamy mash and broccoli. You can also serve this with jacket potatoes, or even turn them into tacos.
