Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup whole milk

1 large egg

1 medium Granny Smith apple, peeled and finely chopped

Directions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugar until combined.

In another bowl, beat the egg with milk until smooth. Gradually mix this into the dry ingredients until just combined.

Gently fold in the chopped apple pieces until evenly distributed.

Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with powdered sugar or your favorite dipping sauce.
