Shrimp Butter

Yields: About 2 pounds (multiple servings)
Ingredients:
– 1 pound butter, at room temperature
– 1 pound margarine, at room temperature
– 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated chicken bouillon (or 4 crushed cubes)
– 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic (or 2 teaspoons garlic powder)
– 1 cup white wine (Chardonnay recommended)
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine butter, margarine, bouillon, and garlic. Blend with an electric mixer until smooth and peanut butter-like in texture.
2. Slowly mix in the wine until fully incorporated.
3. Transfer mixture onto plastic wrap. Shape into a tube and seal tightly.
4. Freeze until ready to use. Slice off sections as needed.
5. To serve, microwave a section in a bowl for 15–20 seconds at a time until it begins to froth (about 1–2 minutes).
Notes
Quick Version (Single Serving):
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1/4 cup margarine
– 1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
– Garlic powder to taste
– 2 tablespoons white wine
Combine in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until melted and frothy. Serve immediately.
