BBQ Ribs- Pressure Cooker

1 rack of ribs
BBQ SAUCE:
1T oil
1 onion diced
8 garlic cloves minced
1 1/2 c ketchup (good stuff)
3T brown sugar
2t honey
1 1/2 T soy sauce
2T Worcestershire sauce
2t liquid smoke
1 1/2t salt
2t black pepper
1 1/2t cayenne
1t mustard powder
2t jalapeño powder
3T apple cider vinegar
RIB RUB:
1/2 C brown sugar
1T chili powder
1T dried parsley
2t salt
2T garlic powder
1T onion powder
2t black pepper
2t smoked paprika
1t jalapeño powder
Directions
Mix all ingredients for dry rub and set aside. Clean ribs and take off membrane.
Separate ribs by cutting in between bones completely.
Rub ribs all over very generously.
Set ribs aside.
Set pressure cooker to saute and add oil and onion.
Saute until soft then add minced garlic and saute for about 1 minute.
Add all the ingredients for BBQ SAUCE and stir together.
Heat the sauce for a few minutes then add ribs to cooker.
Set pressure cooker for 30 min.
Once done let cooker do a natural release for 15 minutes.
Then quick release for the remainder.
At this point you can go ahead and eat ribs or you can continue on with recipe.
Take some of the liquid (like half maybe) and bring to boil on stovetop.
Let it reduce down to desired thickness.
Brush over ribs on all sides .
At this point you can go ahead and eat ribs or you can continue on with recipe.
Put broiler on in over and broil ribs until a bit of char forms.
READY TO EAT!!!
