1/2 cup (8Tbsp; 1 stick) butter, softened to room temperature
5 TBSP maple syrup (optionally, use honey)
1-1/2 Tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
Directions
In a large bowl, beat the butter for 1 minute on medium speed until completely smooth and creamy. Add the maple syrup. Beat on medium-high speed until completely smooth, about 1 minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula and beat again as needed to combine. Taste. Add more maple syrup as desired.
Store at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 months.
Notes
Use on yeast rolls or sweet potatoes.
Try without confectioners sugar next time.
Using honey instead, will be a little less healthy, but does give a different flavor profile.
