Deep Fried Crispy Prawn Wontons Recipe

500 No.sRaw prawns

1 tablespoonCornflour

2 No.sSpring onion

1 No.sEgg white

½ teaspoonSesame oil

1 tablespoonOil

1 teaspoonGround white pepper

100 No.sWonton skins

Directions

STEP 1.

1 in a mixing bowl add 500 gm finely chopped raw prawns, 2 finely chopped spring onions, 1 egg white, 1 tsp ground white pepper, 1 tbsp cornflour, salt to taste and mix the ingredients well to form a paste.

STEP 2.

2 slice the wonton skins into thin strips, place them in a bowl and toss to separate them.

STEP 3.

3 take 1 tbsp of the prawn paste and roll it over the bed of wonton skins. Ensure that the balls are evenly coated.

STEP 4.

4 in a wok heat oil for deep frying, place the prawn balls gently into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.

STEP 5.

5 remove from hot oil and drain.

STEP 6.

6 arrange on a serving plate and serve with sweet chilli sauce.
