250g cubed Paneer
200g frozen peas
2 medium finely chopped onions
3 medium chopped tomatoes
200 ml water
4-5 chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
2 bay leaves
2 dry red chillis
Salt to taste
2 tsp Dried fenugreek
Directions
Begin by either shallow frying or air frying your paneer till lightly golden (I prefer air frying them).
In a pan sauté the red chillis, cumin, garlic, bay leaves and onions.
Once browned add all the dry spices and chopped tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes till some of the moisture evaporates.
Add the peas, water, salt to taste and paneer. Cook on a low flame for 25 minutes.
Crush over some dried fenugreek and cook for another 10 minutes. You may wish to adjust the consistency at this point (I prefer a thicker consistency).
Serve with some fluffy basmati or warm buttery rotiyan (or both 🫶🏾)
