Here is the recipe:Ingredients

For the filling:

6 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup white sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 cup water

For the topping:

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Directions

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the apples. In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.

Create the filling. Place the apples in a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine the white sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, and the cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples, and then drizzle the water over everything.

Make the topping. In a medium bowl, combine the oats, 1 cup of flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix with a fork until the mixture is crumbly.

Assemble and bake. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apple mixture in the baking dish.

Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the apple filling is bubbling and the topping is golden brown and crisp.

Serve. Allow the crisp to cool for 5 to 10 minutes to thicken. Serve warm,
