Tonkatsu Sando (Pork Cutlet Sandwich)

Ingredients:
•2 boneless pork loin cutlets, pounded thin
•Salt and pepper
•¼ cup flour
•1 egg, beaten
•½ cup panko breadcrumbs
•Oil for frying
•4 slices shokupan (milk bread)
•Tonkatsu sauce (or mix ketchup + Worcestershire + soy sauce)
•Shredded cabbage (optional)
🍳 Instructions:
1.Prep and fry the pork:
•Season cutlets. Dredge in flour, dip in egg, coat in panko.
•Fry until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
2.Assemble:
•Spread tonkatsu sauce on the bread.
•Add pork cutlet (and cabbage if using).
•Top with second slice of bread, press, and trim crusts.
