Green Pepper Pork Loin

Ingredients

Pork loin (cut into thin strips)

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp cooking wine

1 tbsp cornstarch

½ tbsp dark soy sauce

Black pepper (a pinch)

A drizzle of oil

1 green onion (finely chopped)

Green peppers (sliced)

Chili powder (to taste)

Sichuan pepper powder (optional)

Sesame seeds

Salt (to taste)

Extra:

½ tbsp dark soy sauce (for later)

Directions

1.Marinate pork with light soy, cooking wine, cornstarch, dark soy sauce, black pepper, and oil. Mix well. Rest for 20 mins.

2.In hot oil, stir-fry marinated pork until fully cooked. Set aside.

3.In the same pan, sauté green onion till fragrant, then add green peppers. Stir-fry until slightly soft. Add chili & Sichuan pepper powder.

4.Toss pork back in. Add a splash of dark soy sauce. Stir well.

5.Add salt and sesame seeds. Stir evenly and serve hot!
