You Guys Asked for It…. Here’s My Homemade Crunchy Chili Gar

Ingredients

This is the perfect flavor enhancer for so many things… I use it on vegetables like green beans, brussel sprouts, broccolini etc.. I use it on noodles, fried rice, eggs, topping for salads or sweet potato bowls etc… it’s a critical staple in my kitchen.. and now you can make it happen in yours

1 ½ cups neutral oil (I usually use avocado oil)

2 tsp’s toasted sesame oil

1 cup garlic, finely minced, dried, or shaved

½ finely minced

3-4 tbsps chili flakes

1 tablespoons gochujang

3 tablespoons sliced almonds, finely chopped

2 tablespoons white sesame seeds or toasted

1 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoons sugar

1 ½

1 teaspoons MSG

Directions

Heat oil to around 350 and pour over the dry ingredients (in a heat safe bowl.. don’t use glass) add the sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, gochujang etc AFTER the oil cools a bit
