We are also missing out on the important plant phytonutrients that are present in the vegetables too.

Fibre doesn’t just keep us regular, it supports our entire Microbiome, the ecosystem in our gut that works in harmony with our body and our wellbeing. Fibre also helps indirectly reduce inflammation, support our brain chemistry and maintaining the integrity of the gut lining.

So this is where my idea for keep moving came from and does what it says on the tin!

Why it’s so important to ‘Keep things Moving’ 💩

Once the liver has performed its detoxification duties, the gut is one of the main exit routes for waste products (urine and sweat and breathing out are the other routes).

Sluggish bowels can make us feel tired or bloated, but can actually slow the removal of waste from the body. Constipation can also lead to the reabsorption of some waste products back into the bloodstream, such as unwanted oestrogen or bile acids.

Food can also over ferment and our poop can become harder and drier, making the problem worse .

Even when staying at the nicest hotels, my fibre intake always takes a nose dive when I am away from my own kitchen.

So…I decided to make dual purpose powder that was easy to take with me.

This jar makes contains three types of fibre to feed different bugs bugs.

Freeze dried berry powder to increase antioxidants (which make it also makes it taste nice, so I’m more likely to drink it!)

This is not a substitute for fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds or whole grains, but rather can bridge the gap when we know that our diet is falling short.

I will post the exact measurements and recipe in the next few days, so give me a follow. Sorry, just run out of room on this post! I always have too much to say. ⭐️
