Sheet Pan Beef Tacos with Avocado Lime Crema

Ingredientes

TACO INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef

½ onion

1 tsp cilantro stems (chopped)

¼ cup tomato paste

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp salt

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp celery salt

¼- ½ tsp cayenne (depending on how spicy you’d like it)

6-8 tortillas

AVACADO LIME CREMA

Olive oil (for brushing)

Cheese (grated (I used colby jack but feel free to use whatever you like)

1 avocado

1 lime

¼ cup sour cream or greek yogurt

Pinch of salt

¼ cup torn cilantro

Optional: jalapeno for a kick

Instruções

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Brown the ground beef with all the seasonings, cilantro stems, onion and tomato paste. Set to the side.

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place the tortillas and brush on each side with olive oil. Add seasoned ground beef (with a slotted spoon so you don’t transfer over any of the excess oil) to half of the tortilla.

Cover with some of the grated cheese, fold the tortilla in half and finish with a bit more of the grated cheese on top of the closed tortilla.

Place into the oven for about 15 minutes or until golden and the cheese is bubbly!

Meanwhile assemble the avocado lime crema: in a blender or food processor mix avocado, sour cream or greek yogurt, juice of 1 lime, cilantro and a pinch of salt. Option to add some jalapeno for a bit of a kick!

Dress the crispy sheet pan beef tacos with lime wedges, more cilantro, and the avocado lime crema on top!
