Ina Garten’s Classic Meatloaf

2½ lbs ground chuck
Olive oil
3 cups chopped yellow onions
1 tsp fresh thyme
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
⅓ cup chicken stock
1 tbsp tomato paste
½ cup dry breadcrumbs
2 extra-large eggs
½ cup ketchup
Instruções
Sauté onions in olive oil with thyme, salt, and pepper until translucent.
Add Worcestershire, chicken stock, and tomato paste. Let cool.
Combine onion mixture with ground beef, breadcrumbs, and eggs. Mix lightly.
Shape into a loaf on a sheet pan lined with parchment.
Spread ketchup evenly on top.(I use BBQ sauce)
Bake at 325°F for 1 to 1¼ hours, until internal temp reaches 160°F.
Slice and serve warm.
