Ingredients (serves 6):
16 oz fettuccine
12 oz bacon, chopped
½ cup butter
1½ tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 cup reserved pasta water
Instruções
Cook fettuccine until al dente, reserve 1 cup pasta water.
In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
In a separate saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook 1–2 minutes.
Slowly add cream, whisking to avoid lumps. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Stir in parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Toss pasta with sauce, then fold in bacon and parsley. Add pasta water if needed for a silky consistency.
