4 Tomatillos
1/2 White or Yellow Onion
2 cloves raw whole garlic (or 2tbsp. Minced garlic)
1 Jalapeño (on the larger side)
Cilantro
Chicken Bullion (1 cube or 1 tsp.)
Salt
Pepper
Optional: 1 Avocado and 1/2 cup of Sour Cream
Instruções
In a medium pot add the peeled tomatillos, half onion, garlic (only if using whole garlic), and deseeded Jalapeño. Let boil for 5-7 minutes until tomatillos are no longer firm and more tender. It helps to turn the tomatillos and onions every couple of minutes.
Then in a blender, add a handful of cilantro, chicken bullion, and optional items if you want a creamier salsa. Then strain and add the boiled ingredients. Blend until salsa forms. Taste and add salt and pepper for flavor.
Then use for burritos, nachos, or tacos.
Alternatively you can cook several eggs in a pot and then pour the mixture over the eggs and allow the scrambled eggs to cook (boil) for 3-5 minutes and then eat. Best with some cheddar cheese and some chips for scooping.
