Instruções
-Warm the water to about 110 to 115 degrees. Add the warm water and honey to a bowl and stir to combine. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes, until foamy.
-In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
-Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir until everything is well combined and a sticky dough forms.
-Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 1 to 1 1⁄2 hours, or until doubled in size.
-About 30 minutes before the dough is done rising, place a Dutch oven with the lid on into the oven and preheat to 450 degrees.
-Once the dough has doubled, turn it out onto a lightly floured counter. Gently stretch it into a square.
-Sprinkle most of the shredded cheddar and sliced jalapeños evenly over the dough, reserving a small amount of each for the top.
-Roll the dough up, then shape it into a ball, tucking the edges underneath.
-Place the dough onto a piece of parchment paper. Top with the remaining cheese and jalapeños. You can also score the top of the dough if desired.
-Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven. Transfer the parchment paper and dough directly into the Dutch oven and cover with the lid.
-Bake for 20 to 25 minutes with the lid on. Remove the lid and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
-Remove from the oven and let cool completely before slicing.
