Pov: You Needed Comfort Food… and This Chicken Alfredo Pasti

For the Chicken:
1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast (or 2
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsbp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Pastina:
1 cup pastina (acini di pepe, stelline, or orzo works too)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
chopped parsley for garnish
Instruções
In a separate pot, cook pastina in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning,paprika, salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
add the seasoned chicken and cooke until golden brown both sides and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
In a the same skillet , melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Stir in heavy cream, Season with Italian seasoning,salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper if using. then add grated Parmesan. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened (about 3–5 minutes).
Add the cooked pastina to the Alfredo sauce. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Simmer on low for 2 minutes until creamy and heated through. Add cooked chicken on top.
Garnish with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of parsley. Serve warm!
