Ice Cream Sandwiches*

Ingredientes

1 package Snackin' cake mix of desired flavor

1/4 cup vegetable shortening

2 tablespoons soft butter

1 egg

1/2 gallon ice cream

Instruções

Preheat oven to 350

Mix cake mix, shortening, butter and egg

Divide into halves

Roll out each into a 10x12 rectangle on floured cloth board with a cloth covered rolling pin

Cut into 32 rectangles, each about 2.5x3

Place on greased cookie sheet

Cut ice cream into 16 rectangles

Make a sandwich, pressing gently til the ice cream reaches the edges

Wrap in plastic and freeze at least 24 hours
