10 oz. Frozen Chopped Spinach (thawed)
6 ½ oz container Alouette Garlic & Herb Soft Spreadable Cheese
¾ cup Grated Parmesan
1 large Egg
Optional 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
2 sheets Frozen Puff Pastry (thawed)
1 Egg (beaten)
Sesame Seeds (for garnishing)
Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
Instruções
Preheat oven 375F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
Place a thin kitchen cloth over a large bowl, then add the thawed spinach in it. Wrap tightly to seal in the cloth then wring out as much liquid as possible.
Dump out the spinach liquid from the bowl.
Add the chopped spinach, garlic & herb soft spreadable cheese, grated parmesan, egg, and minced garlic into the bowl. Mix until well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Slice the puff pastry sheets in half to create two rectangles that are around 7” in width.
Working on the long side of the puff pastry, fill 2” of one side with the spinach filling. Roll up the puff pastry like a log.
Slice into 2 1/2” pieces, then evenly spread out on the prepared pan.
Brush with the beaten egg. Garnish with sesame seeds.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, until deeply golden and flaky.
Let rest 5 minutes before enjoying. Best served warm!
