Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork Chop

Ingredientes

500g of pork chops

5 tbsp of lemongrass, minced

3 tbsp of fish sauce

2 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp of dark soy sauce

3 garlic cloves , minced

2 tbsp of lime juice

2 tbsp of sugar

1 tbsp of honey

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp of cornstarch

1 tsp of baking soda

Nuoc Nam or Vietnamese dipping fish sauce:

180ml of organic water

1/3 cup white sugar

1/3 cup fish sauce

2 limes

2 bird’s eye / Thai chili, finely sliced.

5 cloves of garlic , minced

Instruções

Marinade the pork chops with the ingredients above for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Set aside.

Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Place the pork on a pan and cook each side for 3-4 minutes until just cooked through. Set aside and rest for 5 minutes.

Slice the pork, serve with a bowl of rice, tomatoes and cucumber. Enjoy!

For the Nuoc Nam or Vietnamese dipping fish sauce:

Combine everything from the ingredients above.

If you like more heat, add more chilies!🔥
